What is a fall arrester that moves with you?
A traveling fall arrester is used as a lanyard and secures the worker when working at height. The devices are attached to a safety rope and move automatically as the worker moves along the rope. The retractable type fall arrester is attached directly to the anchor point and does not move with it. It remains fixed in its position. However, the traveling fall arrester cannot do without a safety rope along which it travels.
