Uninterrupted safety
Beyond the fall edges of the roof, climbing onto the roof or crossing areas involves considerable risk. Our access technology solutions include roof crossings that make it easy and safe to cross obstacles, ladder brackets for single ladders, stairs and ladders. Ascending roofs can be optimally secured with our single-flight fixed ladders. Depending on the application, the fixed ladder system can easily be extended with sophisticated accessory components. Here you will also find our back protection cages, access protections, rest platforms, etc.

Compliance with applicable standards is crucial in the field of access technology. Depending on the intended use, various standards play a role: DIN 18799-1 applies to fixed ladders on buildings, DIN EN 14122-4 for access to machinery and DIN 14094-1 for emergency ladder systems. The correct classification is crucial for selecting the right components and design.
A key criterion is the access height. From ten meters upwards, intermediate landings are prescribed to relieve the user. Other safety-relevant elements are
The design is always based on the requirements of the respective area of application. This means that fixed ladder systems can also be adapted to meet increased ergonomic and usage safety requirements.
Reliable fall protection is a key element of fixed ladders. Back protection cages offer a basic protective measure. Rest platforms are also relevant from a height of ten meters. They provide space for a short break and a secure footing.
To increase the safety of your access equipment, railings at exit points, platforms or individually tailored holding devices can be added. The aim is to effectively minimize the risk of slipping or missteps - especially in industrial areas with changing environmental conditions.
Fixed ladders are often part of a more comprehensive safety concept. We therefore not only supply individual products, but also offer you a well thought-out system solution tailored to your individual application. In addition to fixed ladders, we also advise you on supplementary measures - such as suitable anchor points, fall protection using guardrails or a rope system as fall protection. All components on offer can be combined on request - always in accordance with standards, tailored to your needs and prepared for integration on site by your partners or service providers.
Different standards apply to fixed ladders depending on the application. DIN 18799-1 regulates fixed fixed ladders on buildings, DIN EN 14122-4 concerns mechanical access, DIN 14094-1 emergency ladder systems. Each standard defines requirements for design, use and safety.
A fixed ladder can only be part of an escape or rescue route if it is designed as an emergency ladder system in accordance with DIN 14094-1. In this case, additional requirements regarding back protection, landings and safe accessibility must be met.
The climbing height describes the vertical distance from the entry point to the exit level. According to the standard, a resting platform is required above ten meters. The climbing height is decisive for the design of the ladder structure and the associated safety systems.
